2 Simple Test Options
1. We’ll Mail You a Test Kit
We include one-time use of our clinically validated self test kit with every hearing aid purchase. The testing solution meets IEC 60645-1 standards and guarantees only precise programming with every hearing aid that we ship. If you don’t have a current test, we will mail you this tablet audiometer and calibrated headphones for one-time use. Your audiogram will be securely generated and sent to our team of Audiologists.
We do not utilize an online hearing test like some of our peers, as both our team of Audiologists and the prescription manufacturers that we sell do not support the use of these online tests. Utilizing an unmonitored, unadministered online test comes with many risks, such as uncalibrated headphones, background noise and user error.
Instead, we ship our customers calibrated over the ear Sennheiser headphones and a clinically validated tablet audiometer, which is programmed with a certified hearing test application that includes background noise checks and many other clinical-grade features. We invested in this solution over an online test, as this device is clinically validated, calibrated for precision, and identical to a booth test’s accuracy. The results of your hearing test are uploaded to a secure cloud and reviewed by our Audiologists, so that your devices can be programmed precisely with the results. Feel free to take our online hearing screener, if you are not sure if you have a hearing loss, but if you are wanting to purchase new hearing aids, simply call our team and order your devices with one time use of a test kit included.
