The Widex Moment is the most advanced hearing aid made by Widex to date featuring two new sound classes and two new programs. Beyond these additions, the most notable upgrade to the Widex Moment class of hearing devices is machine learning whereby the devices are constantly learning in every environment in order to drive continuous improvement in performance.
The machine learning developments of the Widex Moment hearing devices are not specific to only your devices, but rather all data gathered and shared by any user will be utilized in the optimization of your personal Moment hearing aids. What separates the Moment technology from the most state of the art hearing aids from other manufacturers is this innate ability to learn and adapt outside of the initial programs set by your hearing specialist. Many hearing devices today will detect surroundings and automatically adjust programs, which the Widex Moment can do as well; however, these intelligent hearing aids will actually compile data from all users and automatically push new information out as firmware updates.
There are two layers to optimization in this process. In the simplest sense, your Widex Moment hearing aids utilize a feature known as SoundSense Adapt to log the location and sound data every time you manually change your settings, but even beyond that, Widex provides a platform for recording your changes via SoundSense Learn within the Moment App for smartphones. This is where user data across all Widex Moment users is pooled, processed, and shared with you for your benefit. Through new understanding, the Evoke Fusion hearing devices will begin to override the preset programming of your hearing specialist and tailor each listening experience to historical preferences.
In addition to the convenience and improved functionality powered by machine learning, the Widex Moment hearing aids feature wireless capability, so you can pair your hearing aids with your favorite listening devices such as your smartphone or television. This made-for-smartphone design means all your calls, music, and other output from your phone will go straight into your ears. Gone are the days of struggling to hear phone calls and/or watching your favorite shows.

Also, you wont have access to all of the features and customizations in a Widex Moment 110 or 220 as is available in the higher technology levels, such as the 330 and 440 levels.
