Really high quality hearing aid.

Tried these for two weeks and was not satisfied at all. No automatic switching of programs when you go into different noise environments or go outside on a windy day. The app was more for Iphone than android so setup wasn't quick
Talked to Dr. Yontz and Anna and they sent me the Resound equivalent model with pre paid return for the Starkeys.
LOVE the resounds !! the android app works seamlessly whereas the Starkeys did not. Also the Resound has automatic environment sensing and overall a much better app to modify and save programs.
I can easliy modify any of the pre set pgrms and save them, plus walking outside on a windy day doesn't sound like tin foil being crumpled loudly in my ears.

I have only had them for a little over one week but so far so good. The quality seems very good. For an external hearing aid the size and color make them very discrete. I particularly like the Thrive app with the ability to control for different environments, loss and diagnostic check. The app was easy to download, set up and use. Also, the ability to use them for hearing incoming call is really super - no problem with background noise and lack of clarity causing me to speak louder than necessary by holding phone to hear as I used to do.

I have the model that is completely in the ear, and I love that it doesn't use plastic ear domes that can get stuck in the ear, and needs no batteries since it's rechargeable. They last all day with an overnight charge. They are also fully adjustable by using my phone, and the app is very user friendly. I can create my own adjustments for a particular building and save it, and I can toggle through the different saved programs just by tapping the knob on the hearing aid while it's in my ear. You can even tell it to call someone automatically if you fall down and can't get up....it senses that on its own. I also love that I get my phone calls delivered right into my ears automatically. I wish the Thrive App would come on automatically when I take my hearing aids off the charger. Thrive has a lot of nice tracking features, like number of steps you take, and how long you use each program setting, but you have to remember to open the app on your phone in order for it to connect.
