Widex Hearing Aid Reviews
I bought these because of all the stuff about natural sound and musicians liking them. I did not find it to be true. The Phonak Lumities are light-years ahead in all departments. Also, these do not give you any way to answer a phone or adjust the volume without going to the smartphone app. That's just plain ridiculous. Like a car without a steering wheel. Imagine steering using a smartphone app! What were they thinking? I knew it didn't have buttons when I ordered them but I thought, how's that going to work? They must have some other way to control them besides the app.. They don't. It's just dumb.

These replace my five-year-old Widex Evoke 440s, which continue to be serviceable but were no longer providing good speech intelligibility. Particularly after remote tuning, the SmartRIC 440s provide far clearer speech as well as clear music. The Bluetooth link to my phone and the ability of the charger to serve also as a travel container and to continue charging the hearing aids even when disconnected from the wall are nice bonuses.

Widex is one of the largest and most renowned hearing aid manufacturers in the world. While Widex grounded its roots as a “mom-and-pop” family owned company, their hearing aids can now be found in over 100 countries. Widex’s mission is to provide the absolute best hearing aids and customer service, and they have been largely successful in their efforts. An example of their drive for perfection was their release of the world’s first digital in-the-ear hearing aid. The company is always innovating and, in the words of Widex, “developing digital technology at a level of quality that few can match.”
Our most popular Widex hearing aids include the newly released Widex Moment Sheer line. Widex makes hearing aids that contain all of the most desirable features in today’s market including made-for-smartphone (bluetooth streaming), rechargeable, in-the-ear design, tinnitus management, and more!
In reviewing the Widex hearing aids listed below, you will see different models that are all specified by generational sound quality and technology level. For instance, the Moment replaces the Evoke as the newest Widex hearing aid generation of sound quality. Additionally, as the model number increases so does the performance level of that device. Higher performance hearing aids will have improved signal processing, more advanced programming, and the capacity for noise filtration in a wider variety of environments. For example, users with a more active lifestyle will benefit from Widex hearing aid models falling within the 440 or 330 technology level, while those who lead a quieter lifestyle may only need a 220 or 110 level with fewer filters and programs.
