Why are Hearing Aids so Expensive?

 In Our Discount Prices
In short, they are not as expensive as it seems!  Let me elaborate on this.  Insurance companies have always been largely nonparticipating in the hearing healthcare you’re entitled to. For this reason, audiology practices and hearing centers were forced to develop a pricing structure and value for their hearing aids, and the universal solution has been bundled pricing. With bundled pricing, the price you pay for hearing aids consists of two components – the price for the actual hearing aids and the price for the necessary professional services.
These services are typically packaged into one lump sum that affords you 1 to 3 years of visits for the fitting, repairs, adjustments, programming, cleaning and checking of your hearing aids, along with a repair, loss, and damage warranty. So essentially hearing aids are not as expensive as they look. Unlike most health conditions that require routine doctor’s visits and maintenance, whereby you pay per visit and bill insurance, hearing care is paid for all up front.

When you break it down over the lifetime of a hearing aid, we offer affordable leading brand hearing aids at under a $1 per day!  In our flat rate prices, we work with local audiologists and hearing specialists to include the necessary services for proper counseling, operation, and maintenance of your hearing aids, but we shave a whole lot off of the top when it comes to the hearing aids themselves.  Our hearing aids are about 35% off of average retail price.  Follow the link to see a full list of our discounted prices on major brand devices such as Starkey, Phonak, Widex, Signia, Unitron, and ReSound hearing aids.
